... which we hoped not to meet on the road.

We rode into Oatman. It felt like you had just ridden into a cowboy town and there was going to be a gunfight at any time. The were signs up asking you not to feed the Burro's on the verandah of the town. We took a number of photos and headed onto Needles. We then rode onto more "Easy Rider" movie locations as we climbed the Sacred mountains.

Riding through the Mojave was enjoyable ...

... sea level, quite the change. And imagine that, there's even grass on the ground, we must be out of the desert! There was also a really cool floral groundcover, we'll have to find out what it's called.
