... and begin our cruise along the backwaters of Kerala. These traditional boats are built of bamboo and Anjili wood and were the method of transport for hundreds of years. Now they are decorated and made into comfortable cruise boats. As we drift along lush areas of tropical vegetation we should see lots of birds and a different perspective on village life. The cruise takes us along palm fringed canals where coconut meat and cashews are loaded ...

We rolled in to Morrison (Elev 5766) in time to prepare ourselves for the concert this evening. We had high hopes for Horton House – the B&B where we are staying tonight, and indeed tomorrow night as well. Both Liam and Emma have been here when they were very young a couple of times for visits. Devil's Backbone trail about 22 miles from Estes Park. The scenery is great.

    ... animals from a walkway.

We were actually surprised to find out the amount of animals that they have there, because we only saw a handful of each type, as they are free to roam over acres and have underground dens as well. We lucked out and caught a few bears coming out of hibernation for the season.

All of the animals are fed, and don't have to hunt for their food, and so there is a very large population of ...

    The Fourth Day (Denver)

We woke up this morning and looked out the window to see that there was still snow on the ground, but it was sunny and the light made the snow sparkle, so it was really pretty. We had breakfast, packed all of our things and drove to sears to get some things. Then we started on ...
