Here we go again. Another Ammon family fly-n-drive to see America trip. But this trip will be a little different. This trip we have company. We are delighted and excited to have the Dickinson family join us as they experience first hand one of our busy vacations. The Dickinson family has often followed us on our previous adventures through this travel blog. In fact several of our trips have begun or ended in Nashville where the Dickinson family lives. ...

... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Back to the trailer for dinner and a walk and then to my tent for a good nite's sleep to the sound of rain on the tent.

He got us a free room and upgrade at the Residence Inn near the Denver airport. We have a spacious and comfortable two bedroom, two bath suite with a kitchen and living room. We even have a complimentary dinner here tonight! We are relaxing now and having a glass of wine on the hotel patio. The ...

... food to blow away out of the tree we had placed it in.

We rolled out of tent at sunrise on Thursday and focused on trying to warm up and have some sort of breakfast before getting started. Fortunately our tent held up impressively and our food stayed lodged in the tree we had placed it in. After an hour or so we were ready to go. The wind continued to whip throughout the climb which really brought the temperature down. We ...
