    the park also has black bear, coyote, deer, elk, fox, prairie dog and rabbits. We didn't see any of these either.

    We arrived 4 hours+ late to Denver. Again no real apology from AMTRAK- Maggie has a saying of the Americans that they use "Aggressive politeness" and this has sooo become our byword for what you get in these circumstances. Statement of fact in cartoon rigid speech which allows no reply or questioning - very polite but no explanation or the sorry word.

    It actually suited us as we were supposed to be there at 0600 and managed to sleep till 0800.
