      ... Rosa winery, one of NM’s largest… walked out with a case of reds and ready for nap; (Planning a Habersham wine taste of New Mexico); also got some great info from the server on places in the area to visit. We will do some misc. back road touring. So clearly we are not quite ready to move on to the Carlsbad Caverns… we will take a week and camp at the City of Rocks, unusual volcanic rock formations and White Sands National Park near Alamogordo, NM.

      ... not have hookups here but the weather was nice, warm and had a great breeze coming through the windows. Driving to Wilcox, AZ tomorrow so we expect another border check by AZ officials looking at the vegetables we have in the RV – hope we don’t have to throw out too much!

      ... and forts that protected the trade routes to Santa Fe. This is a big farming area because the Rio Grande irrigates the fields (we didn’t see any water). This area is known for the alfalfa, chilies, onions, corn, cotton and pecans. New Mexico State University is also located here.

      ... to going there. Its a park with agates, opals, crystal all types of rocks and you are allow to take our 15 lbs each a day. The only state park they allow you to actually take from the park. Now if I can only pry Terry away from his work to go.
