... get those in Johannesburg. One amusing event occurred, the check-in agent told me she could only check my suitcase as far as Atlanta, not all the way to Dallas, because they didn't have an arrangement with Delta, and because I would have to collect my suitcase at the first port of entry to pass customs.

I told her that she could check the bag to Dallas and that all passengers would have to claim their bags in Atlanta, ...

From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Hi! How is everyone? We are all still wired from the sugar that we have consumed and continue to consume. :) We have had some wonderful celebrations for Miss Addy P's birthday. Three parties, four cakes, and so many presents. Most importantly though . . ...

    ... She is simply perfect!

She loves Cheerios, eggs, chicken, yogurt, oranges, apples, fried okra, sweet corn bread, steamed dumplings, rice, ice cream, cookies, and candy! Her favorite toy is Sven, from Frozen. We have never seen Frozen, but you should have heard the continuous joyful squeals I heard from across the craft store. I knew that was my girl. ...

You gotta love those long international layovers *sarcasm*. After flying over night, I've landed in Dallas Texas. And I'm fortunate enough to have a layover for 10 hours... *again, more sarcasm* 10 hours at DFW? No way! Dallas/Fortworth International is in the middle of nowhere, but I will not be seating around for 10 hours inside an airport. Gotta find something to do. With the Internet at my fingertips, I reserved a rental car as I walk to the Rental Car location. As ...
