Hello! Hope everyone had a relaxing and fun July 4th. We sure did!

Before we get into the July 4th fun, I'll give a quick update on her kidneys. We went to the urologist last Thursday for a quick exam. Nothing new yet except we have to go get three tests done in about three weeks to verify kidney function and to see if her condition is causing any issues. Yikes! Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously.
