      ... got back home we had been in the car for 15 hours and were exhausted and extremely disappointed that our visit and camping trip had been thwarted. But we were also pretty grateful that the delay in our departure had prevented us from being further along the route and perhaps in a far more precarious place... the way we figure it, we probably would have been somewhere in the Gorge and perhaps involved in the rock slides and devastation in there.

      ... also sailed past all lit up with Peter Pan and Captain Hook duelling on the deck, the plank and in the rigging. Floating barges bedecked with lights also had Disney 'couples' dancing- Beauty and the Beast, Ariel and Eric and Snow White and Prince Charming. The show concluded with Mickey triumphant (of course) over the forces of evil which all disappeared in puffs of smoke and balls of fire.

      What a tiring day! Bet you're all tired from reading this, ...

      ... The kids got in as many hugs as they could get before Gpa and B headed back to the airport and we hit the road. Thanks for coming to hang with us. What a great 4 days that the kids will remember forever.

      ... with the increase in cost of the car. So I leave it, to decide later. Its apparent that the cost of living is pretty high in LA, so I can only deduce that guitars will be cheaper elsewhere. So I'm happy to wait. The kids are well behaved, they don't touch anything. We head back, but not before picking up the kids pizza for lunch. The pizzas are cheap here but are really not worth the money. They are **** and offer very little in the way of options ...

      ... Main Street. And then California Soaring - a ride that lifted us in the air and took us for a ride in the skies through all of California. Dinner was amazing! Clam chowder served in cob bread. Yum! Last thing at night, when our feet were thoroughly aching, the World of Colour presenting all of the Disney stories in a fountain and light show was amazing...
