We crossed one footbridge at the end of Weston Lake Loop Trail and on the next, turned right to get on Oakridge Trail, heading deeper into the forest.       ... in the parking lot I noticed the lights turned off. They had lost power because of the
      storm! They couldn’t check us in of course. Man, did I speak too soon. We noticed that the entire area was without power so we decided rather than wait around, we would just head down the road until we came to the first decent hotel (that had power) and that’s what we did.
