... have a few laughs and high fives and drink on the side as we were subbed off. It was a lot of fun and just made us want to get involved in social mixed sports back home.

We get through the game safely and laugh the entire way home about how the American’s were teaching the Aussies how to play “their” rules. We get back, shower, and hang out the rest of the night on the couch and watching tv sitcoms until midnight and we crash ...

... miles were better. When I reached 7000 feet elevation, I had phone signal, so I called Vanessa and talked for about and hour. ... have complained of seeing mt. bikers several times on the PCT. And they (the mt. Bikers) are bold about it. When the rain stopped finally, I found a really nice place to camp on this cliff with an awesome view of the valley below. As the clouds intermittently parted and reformed, the ever changing scenery made for nice entertainment as I had dinner. This is my TV. Tomorrow I make it the Belden, 15.5 miles ...

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. PCT day 80. Miles 1224.4-1251.4 I did another 25 miler today. I have to admit, tho, that I am tired. It rained for most of the day starting at noon. As I write this at 9pm the clouds still linger and threaten more precipitation. The terrain was mellow today, facilitating big miles. There are so many pine trees here. The mountains are plastered ...
