... itself, I not only get to see a precious part of the world, but I get to see it with the most precious part of my world (right? I know. Like, super cheesy. But for real). Everything is made so much better by the fact that I get to hold his hand and drag him around in awe. Poor Michael :) I'm not even going to be able to contain, nor control, my awe-stricken-ness. ... funny (but super strategic) piles of stuff: one for the tech stuff (chargers, cameras, cords), one for first aid, one for art stuff, etc. Slowly but surely the list of needs is dwindling.
The Luggage Goal:
- One carry-on packed with our clothes
- One carry-on left mostly empty
- An empty duffel (packed in the mostly empty carry-on)
- His backpack
- My art bag
... reliving their day to music. He definitely had the groove and danced the whole time. After story time Blaine and big cousin Ya-Ya (Leila) played a game of chase Jaxson all around the Grand Lobby. The boys really enjoyed spending time with their cousins, Blaine especially had a lot of quality time with Ya-Ya dancing, chasing and hanging out. Really, it was a perfect way to cap our trip. ... was overdue for replacement. The trail was wooded, mossy and much different then any other trail we have done thus far. It felt as if we were surrounded by a rain forest. The moss covered trees were pretty cool to see. We were also able to see a couple of doe and a buck as we emerged from the forest, for a very brief moment, into a meadow. ... some pizza flavored Combos! I just don't want to fall asleep on my half hour drive home, and I am still responsible for patient care during these last few hours.
