    ... Then we went on a ride where 2 of you sat on a platform and had to pull yourself up to the top by a rope and then let go to go down again before pulling yourself back up. This time I partnered Mercina who pulled her weight and some of mine.

    Most of the rides include multiple Lego sculptures. On the Safari Ride we saw the Lego version of all the animals we saw yesterday.

    We are now back in L.A. Airport after a short 25 minute propellor flight up from San Diego, and just getting ready to board the long haul 14 hour flight home. It has been a great trip.     ... really new. There is also a treasure hunt for the kids (which we don't do tonight, as we are exhausted!) to unlock a special treasure chest in the room. It's another boost to the energy just being in the room, and I'm really glad we made the effort to come and stay here at the beginning of the trip. We walk down and grab a buffet dinner from their Lego themed restaurant before heading back to our room, and pretty much collapsing in our beds. What a first day!

    Good morning Wests! It's 6.15am and for the final time this trip, I have hot coffee delivered to my door. The bags are packed and we have pre-ordered our favourite hot turkey at Ralph's for our flight home.
