      ... a movie star! A luxurious home surrounded by similar in a dead-end court on a hill , at the back overlooking more arid hills never to be built on, and beyond more homes. One little American flag sits like a little soldier at the edge of the driveway on the nature strip, 2 more I notice later, in big plant urns in the garden flanking the entry, remnants from July 4.This is a nine room home of 3 bedrooms, 5 ...

      ... bus to the hire car place..after standing in line for what felt like eternity I jumped on their free iPads and just checked with Avis who were across the road...and just like that I reserved a car for half the hertz price. So we waddled across the road with all our gear on and jumped in our little ford focus ( same colouring and shape as my car at home) and off we went. So the fact that I sit on the driver side of the car but I am a passenger is taking a while ...

      ... Then we went on a ride where 2 of you sat on a platform and had to pull yourself up to the top by a rope and then let go to go down again before pulling yourself back up. This time I partnered Mercina who pulled her weight and some of mine.

      ... I should do for the afternoon. And to my surprise I hear this big 'Emma!' from the lounge. And it was Belinda (from San Fran and Vegas)!
