      ... ago.. The fit one's did a FAST morning walk - me almost running with the fast pace set by Gene (I had forgotten he had done marathons, walking in the past) and he set a cracking pace.       The high was 70 today. The sun did come out for awhile around 12:30, so I headed quickly to the beach. The sun was out briefly, but as long as I laid down on my towel on the sand, it was warm.
