We split some chicken wings and each had a house salad and a beer. That gave us enough energy to check out more stores. As we were walking, I was thinking more and more about that cookbook that I should have purchased. By 4:30 we were just too tired to walk any more. Rich said we were going to go back to ...

... thinking the rain might continue (or suddenly end), we leave Colchester -- with a revised ride plan.

We don't know it at the time, but it will rain off and on all day long. Spoiler alert: we arrive safely at our destination, wet, cold, but unhurt.
