... grass, sleeping in the sun, or enjoying the rain (pygmy hippos are native to a rainforest, after all). After a few days in Oklahoma (where the wind comes sweeping down the plain) it was a long drive further south to Austin, capitol of the great state of Texas, also known as the Lone Star State, with their fantastic motto “Don’t Mess With Texas!” At the risk of offending any blog readers who are from Texas or who have lived there at some point in time, I will venture ...

hot and could not be beat for flavor and or value. Thanks to those people in
the park who put out and volunteer to do these things for the rest of us, who
prefer to drink, which we did at Jim and Alice’s happy hour after the 4:00 pm
    dinner.

Man is this a travel blog, or a gastronomical tour?

Thanks for Reading, finally got the camera to download,
    after a call to Cannon.

    Its all good!

Jeremiah asked us if we wanted to tag along while he went grocery shopping, so the three of us and Jason climbed into the Excursion and took advantage of getting off the lot for a little bit. It was John's and my first time in a Sam’s Club and quite frankly, we weren’t all that impressed. I mean, ...
