      ... and the temperature with it, we turned our trusty steed towards the "needs-a-facelift" Furnace Creek motel, found a cheap burger (really, at a not-so-cheap $14.95, we think the cows walked here from LA), and then enjoyed a treat of ice cream (a recurring theme) back in our room.       ... we checked into Hard Rock we went down to the casino and I promptly won $200 bucks. Then I walked away, mostly, all in all it put us ahead and I bought Alan dinner (at happy hour prices) to celebrate.

      ... in the wrong direction lol.
      We decided then to go to Venice beach O.M.G. Weird or what we did see lots of sights, lots of highs and I mean gangi highs.
      We then go to Rodeo Drive we ate at the same place that we ate at 10 yrs ago . There are plenty of Starbucks here but no English tea Ray is dying for one. We then go to hotel chill out with 12 bottles of larger an facebook, we finally get back about 10-30.
