We loved talking with him. His advice? "You just have to let go." Such an inspiration. This is a special place. We would love to return someday. NOT in the summer, as it is literally the hottest place on earth. Now is the perfect time to be here. Peace and love to all. Enjoy the pics! C & ...

... the fifties. Perfect. Three nights gives us ample time to check out the various wonders here without rushing. We rolled into Furnace Creek Campground and after a bit of settling in, took our bikes over to Furnace Creek “Ranch”. No roughing it here, there is a well-stocked store, three places to eat and drink, plus for $5 you can get an all-day pass to the pool at Furnace Creek Inn.

The canyon, developed in the area millions of years ago, was formed because of a system of cracks. Running water has been channeled into these cracks for centuries and has gradually carved out the canyon to its present size. Mosaic Canyon is considered a geologic “outdoor museum”.

... There is not a lot going on in Furnace creek and the price of fuel was so expensive. Tip, make sure you have enough fuel to get there and also leave. We had 150 miles in our tank so we didn't fill up at Furnace creek when we left we went on and filled up in the next town which is like 50 miles away!

It was definitely an experience and the drive was amazing even though it was very long but you don't need to stay here for a long time!!
