... depart to our resting location at the Beatty RV Park in Beautiful (not really but roll with it) Beatty, Nevada. Beatty, Nevada is interesting because within the city limits (only a few blocks) you can see a brothel, more donkeys than people, and some interesting eateries.

Well we should have a better update for you with Day 11. Day 11 includes heavy hiking at Red Rock Canyon, awesome!

... visited the sights in the most efficient way, so that we didn't have to double-back so much but unfortunately this meant that we would be driving in the bottom of the Valley in the middle of the day. ... away with something and after a bite to eat in the food court we moved on to Death Valley. As one approaches Death Valley there is miles and miles of nothingness and as one enters the park the elevation begins to drop and the temperature starts to rise. By the time we'd reach Zabrinski's Point where we got out to view the surrounding landscape it had reached 46 degrees. For those of you who've not experienced that sort of temperature....IT'S HOT! The scenery ...

... unperturbed by the furore it was creating down in the ground, an American Bald Eagle sat surveying the landscape around it. We stood breathlessly watching it for five minutes, before taking out leave and heading further down the road towards the centre of the small settlement round the meadows. Here we managed to find a true roadside restaurant. Food could only be ordered to go and the menu was limited, but what they did, they did extremely well and we topped up our ...
