... in......so a tow truck would have to be dispatched. At 8:15 that evening we were in tow and headed to the Cummins dealer for repairs the following day. By 9:30 we were sitting in the parking lot at Cummins with the blessing of 50 amp electric and water, because they were a coach care facility, and some ice cold beer in the frig. Place to sleep before heading to Sequoia Ntl. Park

Still a wonderful trip that we will be thankful for the rest of our lives.

Stay tuned.

Here is a little background on our backpacking experience as I have some relatives who ask for me to write about earlier experiences.

Dale and I first backpacked before we were married. We hiked into the Sierra's, a 10 hour hike, over a pass into what is called Evolution Valley. We stayed for several days but we were certainly not as sophisticated then as we are today. Those days we just ate the freeze dried meals and cold granola for breakfast.

... and their trailers. And the word for today is TRUCKS. Too many trucks obstructed our views of the right side of the road. Way too many trucks, which made me wish we had decided to take the scenic route as we had done earlier, where there were few trucks and no one to ruin our sight-seeing.

One interesting thing that we saw of note…the graveyard for planes in Mojave, Ca. I had seen this place on TV, and had no idea we would ...
