Well we do love our maps, although I tease Dale about being in love with his maps.

We have now obtained maps for driving throughout Europe, free with our AAA Plus. I do find that it is easier to see the big picture before narrowing it down to the details. We find the places we want to go to then Google map them for mileage. Google maps will show the distance in miles ...

Michael the chef, who is definitely not Japanese, more Italian American, and puts on a show of juggling, flames and food fun, cooking up a feast of fried rice and vegetables, with Halibut for me. We're at a ...

... br> We arrived at the lodge preceding the trail to the Sequoias, the widest trees in the world, only to find that whilst the road had been open yesterday when Chris asked, it wasn’t today due to snow. We were offered the choice of either not seeing the trees, not really an option, or walking the two miles the road would have taken us in the van and then doing the trail on top of that; as we had nothing else on the itinerary today apart from the drive to Bakersfield ...
