        ... 90% of the land for conservation and the ranch and the other they will be using for Commerce Center, planned community and resort. Also along Route 99 into Bakersfield there were acres of pistachios, almonds, alfalfa and wine vineyards and a few oil wells.

        ... I had gone on a bit further to refill and found a Pilot Truck Stop at $4.25. I was thrilled. At Barstow, we pulled over for a few minutes, took a bathroom break and stretched our legs.

        My husband, Dale, and I have been completely immersed in all things "Downton Abbey". He was still working last year when Season 1 aired so I watched it alone, hooked.
