    We got an early start and spent all day on the road to get to the South Dakota campground before dark. Beautiful state with rolling hills and stunning views.
    Stopped at famous Wall Drug shopping mall and got some cowboy hats and other stuff.

    The KOA Campground is amazing and is located in the middle of the Black Hills. Had a nice dinner and some well deserved and needed cocktails at the restaurant on site. Tomorrow we tour Mt ...

    ... what that was all about, we figured we'd find out later. And find out, we did! We decided to walk across the road to the Corn Crib - a huge red barn, which you enter through a silo - we heard the food was good, and very affordable, so it made sense to skip cooking dinner.
