... attempts to locate a pool, we finally made way to "The Orchard" where some Hospira folks had access to a pool. After showers, twelve of us met at Trudy's for "Mexi's" and Honey Chicken. For whatever reason, Animal jokes broke out. After arguing against it for a few seconds, Luke and I serenaded a bacholorette with our own twist on "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling" by the Righteous Brothers and headed towards Rainey Street. ... got in the car, while Mom, Dad, and I collapsed the tent. All the while the rain fly was billowing behind Mom, and the thought I kept forming was " Superhero ". Finally Mom and Dad took the tent into the ladies bathroom, disassembled it, and drove for two hours to an AmericInn in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

... to try a crazy donut too, but oh well. Next time! So we headed back to 6th street and grabbed Amy's Icecream, which was very good! However we were very full and had tapped out at that point!

Once we had finished eating, we went back to our hotel and got ready to celebrate the new year! We went to our friends house and enjoyed a quiet evening watching the ball drop and spending time with friends. It was wonderful! Happy 2013!!!
