    So I'm off to see a friend of mine in Austin, Texas. I'm heading North to catch the main highway (10) and I start to see the landscape change. I drive through the Douglas Mountain Range and a few mountain passes and notice things are starting to get a little greener. I drive for several hours when I finally see signs of life - a sign that I am close to my destination.

    ... checked out the Texas Uni Campus which is insanely nice.. Think I may need more education.. guess I'll have to go back to university in Texas. Student loan extension here I come! Also had an authentic Mexican meal with John and the SXSW crew. Poor guys - they'd already started working and were having to do 7.30am meetings most days! On a side note: Some proper characters around the hostel too. I mean hostels attract some weird types ...
