Now we just have to wait 6 more days, and pack, probably run a bazillion errands! But it's almost here and we're so excited not only for the trip but see so many friends and family we haven't seen in years!
I have the travelpod app on my phone so I'm hoping to keep this blog up to date with our adventure even if it's just short updates and iphone pics!

i'll ditto the "easy" the fact that i can still indulge in my bath (yes, i can seriously fit in the tub) has me pretty much sold :)
... the cover of darkness and 90 minutes of waiting with baited breath. Nobody ever showed up. Apparently the drought last year meant there were far fewer insects leaving the bats weak and open to predation. So I guess they’ve adjusted their schedules this year and are coming out in smaller groups under the cover of darkness.
Add the bats to the list of things global warming has ruined.
