    ... then headed for the outlet mall - we now both own more shoes (Collis actually brought more pairs than me!) Anyway, we finally made it to our hotel, it's a typical motel, with outside hallways and everything, but it's relatively clean and is only 10 minutes from Franklin bbq , which is where we are heading tomorrow morning :) :) ...

    Lucy’s Fried Chicken came highly recommended and it was walking distance from their place so that was our destination.     Before the festival we headed over to Brenda and Carli’s local, Red’s, for some frozen margaritas, but they were so potent that my face contorted as I drank. It was a nice setting though, one that overlooks Barton Creek, the creek that is so dry due to the drought you can walk from their house to Zilker Park, which is at least a mile.
