We had a perfect stay at Motel 6, Atlanta. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious enough.

... with one more long day on the road.

I just went back through some of our photos to see that quote from Lao Tzu, "A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving." Now one month away from home with thousands of miles traveled, I longed for not being on the road. Although I never had a bad night's sleep or a back ache, I longed for my own bed. Although I've enjoyed the privileged of this adventure, I longed for home. One more day.

Today we went to down town Atlanta and got off of the train at Lenox, ready to go to the cinema. We went to look around some fancy expensive shops on the way. We saw mayceys and a Bloomingdales. We really didn't expect to see tall fancy sky scrapers today. The shops were so posh. The buildings were made of glass. The Phipps mall we went in had lots of posh expensive cars in it ...

World of coke was another awesome day out. Just such a different thing to do and it was just a great cool atmosphere to be their. A real family feeling. We walked right into the lobby which had massive coke bottles designed all over the world. We then went into the loft, we were surrounded by coke artefacts from though out time which was special. The guy who gave us the talk was really funny too. Then we went into the coca cola theatre were they put a 5 min feel good film on. It ...

I headed down into the lobby and saw that breakfast wasn't complimentary like the other hotels I had stayed in, I was undecided as to whether I wanted to pay so I went outside first. I walked past the empty pool and through the gate and onto the sand. The sand was pretty hard, and tire marks and traffic cones dictated the flow of traffic. Though no cars were on the move while I was there. ...

... full day planned. We then headed to Dawsonville, north of Atlanta on tollway 400, to go to the North Georgia Permium Outlets. There was construction along 400 which reduced the four lanes to two. To go, I'd estimate four miles, we were in stop and go traffic for a half hour all to clear construction that was less than one hundred yards long. We stopped for gas and soda along the way. The outlet was on the west side of the road. We found parking, though ...
