... than 50 years old and is bumpy, jerky and definitely made Mum feel sick! Having said that, she was quite queasy coming off the very benign Mickey's Fun Wheel (ferris wheel) and Silly Symphony Swing. She blames it on childbirth! We decided not to take Mum on the Hollywood Tower of Terror, a 60m drop inside a hotel building. Not for the faint-hearted.

We enjoyed the Autotopia ride which is a slot car experience. Anna had her first experience at ...

... anyway. It took an hour and a half to get there on the bus, and on the way the driver pointed out some of the famous buildings and places, the same ones we passed on the LA Tour on Wednesday. We couldn't see the Hollywood sign today though, the cloud was too low over the hills.

The ride seemed so long too, with many waterfalls and all the rest, enough to get soaked to the skin! I dried relatively quickly, but Jordan wore jean shorts and was still damp when we left the park. We then had some lunch and then decided to do the "Soarin' Over California", which was a flight simulator experience. There was a gigantic ...

... popped afterwards so decided to have an early night catch up on some blog writing and Internet searching for our next stops; we bought 6 bottles of beer each and a nachos plate from Walgreens, Ross or me didn't even get checked for id, they're not as strict as you think over here. If your confident and not all fidgety and over chatty(nervous talk) they don't seem to bother asking for it. and went to the room to watch the VMAs, which we didn't realise was down in Santa Monica; ...

Today was Universal Studios Day!! Up nice and early and we headed on the bus up to the studios. It was nice and warm today too which made it nicer to walk round in. It reminded me a lot like Disneyland and I didn't realise there were so many rides and shops. We started with the studio tour which was AMAZING! We drove firstly through the. Set of King Kong which had been made into 4D! The tram ...
