    ... Carl from Ohio put himself up but just fell short..,,,greedy Carl!! Much to Anita's disgust he had a bucket between his knees at the end and no doubt regurgitated half a cow!! You must check out the Bigtexan .com and watch Molly Schayler break the world record by eating it in 4 mins 58 secs but even more incredibly she then did again straight after in 14 mins 57 secs! Astonishingly she only weighs 120 ...

    ... western OK before dusk.

    We put the pedal to the metal to try to get to Amarillo before dark. Just across the Texas line in Groom, there were some cool things along side the road (didn't have to stop) - the leaning water tower and the largest cross in the western hemisphere (allegedly). Both pretty cool to see, at the bottom of the cross were monuments for each of the stations of the cross. The weird ...

    ... a roll, salad, baked potato, shrimp and the 72 oz steak. We then got back to our camp site and were exhausted! We blew up our air mattress, climbed in our sleeping bags and were out cold for the rest of the night. We packed up early this morning and had to stop at Cadillac Ranch for a photo op.     ... station to check in and get our campsite for the night. It's an 8 mile drive down to our campsite through the canyon. It's a much milder night tonight and there is a lovely breeze blowing through Harvey's windows. Once again it is going to be a quiet night as we don't have too many other campers here.
