    ... restaurants on Rt 66 - Silver Moon Cafe (est 1959) and they are now a Mexican Rest. I was bound and determined to have Mexican while we are here in the SW so I got it today. Was real good. I had enchilatas and Joanne had fajitas both were plentiful and we could not finish. We are having ham and salami sandwiches for dinner. Maybe a chip or pretzel but no big meals. We are both about to burst.

    This morning I decided to show I'm a domesticated diva and bake some cookies for the road. I must say, I was pretty proud of myself given my limited kitchen facilities.
