On route back to the motel we stopped to get a few provisions at a local supermarket (Lowes) and it was BRILLIANT for people watching. We saw a cowboy (had, boots and everything) together with his son, who was probably about 11, also in jeans, boots and the big hat. It was hard not to stare, but only in an way of awe!
The evening was spent watching telly and a film before sleep!!

It was much much bigger than anticipated. You could kayak, camp, zip line and hike but we didn't have much time until the sun went down & the park closed so we drove the narrow path to the bottom of the canyon & back up.
