... a tribute to Route 66 by some local nutter where he bought 10 classic Cadillacs and stuck them into the ground bonnet first all in a row and now tourists come and spray paint them with their tags. The other thing they're famous for is the Big Texan Steakhouse where they offer the 72oz slab of steak and sides for free IF you can eat it all by yourself in less than one hour! Only a few people have managed it. Not feeling man enough for it ...

It's the Texas Grand Canyon or at least the 2nd largest Canyon in the USA to the Grand Canyon. The boys have decided on steak tonight seeing as we are in Texas and all. Of course we have to make stop at Walmart to buy the steaks and heat beads for the Barbecue. On our way now to the Canyon. We stop at ...

Lisa: Amarillo bound I sang all the way there, "is this the way to Amarillo" I couldn't stop, for once the lyrics made sense!! We arrived quite late so decided to check in to yet another cheap motel the n head straight out to 'The Big Texan’ which is a steak restaurant. Here you can take up the challenge of a 72oz steak, bread rolls, salad, a baked potato, and shrimp, if you manage to eat all this in 1hour you get the meal for free, if you fail ...
