Terrible Internet service

Reviewed
by (32 reviews) Haymarket , United States Flag of United States

This place had a few problems. First, they had terrible Internet service. I ran a speed test and got a ping time of over 750ms when it should be under 20ms. The speed test showed the upload speed as nearly 1mb but when I tried to watch a video it buffered for over an hour before starting to play anything. The carpets in the halls and to a lesser extent in the rooms were filthy.

Yesterday evening we went out to dinner with two of the couple from Renegades. Went to Texas Roadhouse, but we were smart and split a dinner. So that not only saved us some money, but we didn't eat as ...

... to a creamery, we returned "home" and relaxed the remainder of the day. The official first day of the rally is tomorrow and I have been looking through the book to pick out some interesting ones. The vendors don't open until Thursday although there will be a preview of the motorhome displays tomorrow evening.

So tomorrow will be a full day if we go to all the seminars. Will let you know tomorrow night.

... a neat sight to see! I then joined Pamela to go to some fraternity parties while my mom relaxed and read a book. Overall,a pretty good day!

Yesterday, we took Pam off campus and went to the mall to get a few things before coming back in time to watch the Finals. We went to the Cooper's Tavern which is a sports bar/restaurant and luckily were seated right away! We loved the ambiance and loved cheering on the team surrounded by all of the other fans. It was a great way to ...

... and water….. Man, that was rough.

We woke up before 3 am after fitful sleeps to get ‘er done and catch a cab to the airport at 4 am. We stopped through O’hare on the way to Newark. We’re staying at my college buddy’s place in New York’s Upper East Side. (Thanks Darrin!).

After all the worries, we have no regrets and look forward to the journeys that lay ahead.
