Now, all I need is for this winter weather to start subsiding!! My only apprehension for this trip is the possibility of extended runs of rain - making the trip generally miserable, and any possibility of icy conditions at any place along the way - - but that's the chance you take doing this in March I guess!

As soon as I crossed into the state of Georgia, I started to think of some of the songs that have been written about it. Cue Ray Charles ("Georgia on my Mind) and Gladys Knight & the Pips ("Midnight Train to Georgia")... For the last hour, I listened to German techno (Paul Kalkbrenner) with only the dashboard for a light show. Very therapeutic.
