... only to find it was owned by an Australian, and served Portuguese food! Enjoyed an African Chicken salad (an iconic Macau dish), and Portuguese style ribs, and a very welcome cool drink.

Headed back into the throng of people for one last souvenir hunting expedition, and then onto the bus back to the ferry terminal, only to find that the earliest ferry we could get on was at 9.15pm!! Given that it was just past 6pm, we weren't too ...

Libby enjoyed the coffee, but Barry was disappointed.

Time to move and we took the MTR to Central, then the Tung Chung line to Kowloon station, and entered the Elements shopping centre, located in the ICC building.

... rice, they offer Chinese or Indonesian style so Ian goes for Indonesian with some very hot chilli sauce on the side. It was gorgeous. Ian want to find the Excelsior hotel that he stayed in round here 30 years ago on the Gloucester Road, he had many a good hour in the Dickens Bar there. The hotel & bar was just where he had left them so we went in for a drink & guess what the rugby was on the telly!!! A couple of beers and a few pots ...

... to lunch at a nice restaurant and I got my first completely vegetarian meal since I've been here. Was lush! Also, got taught a few more words in Mandarin which, I'm sorry to say, I've already forgotten but hey! Think they were sweetening us up though as they've just told us we should start at 7-20 tomorrow as we are going to help the little ones read. Should be nice, but too early!

After lunch we returned to our room and decided to take a cab to Nanjing Road - a pedestrian road and very fashionable street lined with spectacular buildings and beautiful shops; designer shops huge department stores with up market clothing, shoes, cosmetics etc the street was extremely busy and seemed to be where the well ...
