... of the rear foyer. The main entrance to the casino dawns a silver and gold horse to entice the Chinese tourist in as a sign of good luck. Well it was my lucky day. I figured I give the slots a go and hit a couple of small jackpots- just enough to the cover the hotel bill and then I was out of there. Better to quit while I'm ahead.

I woke up this morning raring to go, but Terry was bushed and bleary. He is really feeling the heat, even with the air conditioner on. We went for a short walk before lunch, but it was too hot for me to window shop even. We are staying on Queen's Road, Central, on Hong Kong Island, very busy and exciting. Terry felt a bit better after an afternoon sleep.

... is a series of narrow corridors fanning out from a central elevator, with shops flanking both sides of the corridors and essentially making up the "walls" of the place. We bought quite a few things, from a video game that came out last month for $10 Australian (which will likely work...I hope ..) to some interesting knick knacks. Went upto Victoria peak via taxi as the tram had a 2 hour wait! The peak was amazing. The views fantastic. I also picked up some trinkets, tried on a dress which didn't fit :(. Saw some amazing paintings and bought a couple to bring home :) will cost more to get them framed than they cost though. Home for last min ...
