BAD NEWS!
So far everything has been going swimmingly, the right stamps issued by the right departments, just one more to get, and Ted rang to say he wants to meet at Gregs apartment...
The last government department said NO to Teds application to sponsor a Z visa and residence permit application. No explanation, I meet or exceed their requirements, no reasons listed for the declined application... Just No.
So I am on a job hunt again!

Arrival at last.
The landing was a little off, there was a rainstorm flooding the runway as we landed and the plane swayed from side to side as it braked down the runway, I presume the plane was hydroplaning or the puddles were slowing one side more than the other or something, but a very rough and wobbly landing once touched down.
So after that it was out of the baggage ...
Sleepy Time for Hoopie
... get together in Laowaitan which is the foreign section of town. Even though a year had gone by, it was almost comical how little had changed. There are some new faces, but the feeling was just the same. I guess that's true anywhere though. It was great to see everyone again.
I entered zombie mode early in the evening, but still didn't make it to bed until rather late. After about 5 1/2hours ...

... that to be honest.
He'll soon be home though, and then we're off for drinks and goodbyes to Ningbo and the folks I've met here.
Tomorrow I begin the near 40 hour journey that will bring me back home. It's not going to be much fun, but I'll have many wonderful memories to keep me company. This will likely be my last blog post of this trip, so thanks very much for reading, and I look forward to seeing many of you soon.

Big ol' Ningbo Update
... Another feature that undermines his otherwise golden aura of canine dignitas is the fact he his as dumb as a box of rocks. I have only really known Black labs and one Chihuahua personally. I guess on some level I always assumed that all dogs were that intelligent, but Moonie as I call him clearly disproves that view. Still he is a sweetie. yeasheis.whoisagooboi?ismoonie?yeaass. hesgoodboi.
