    Our first break from school is finished. Although it seemed a little early for a holiday, we were ready for one! We flew to Tokyo last Saturday from Hong Kong, but stayed at the airport, away from the demonstrations. It was interesting to see the contrasts between Japan and our part of China.

    ... teacher/friend made an appointment for me today and took me to the salon. The big difference is that your hair is cut first and then washed. Because I had pictures from the last time Kim cut my hair home, language wasn't a problem and all went well. TIm just got home and he had 2 shampoos and blow dries with his short hair!

    This was kind of an early morning we had to be up and out for the tour Billy booked at 9:30. We had a lovely breakfast in the hotel then meet up with our tour guide Jeanette.
