    ... 6th!!

The weather has been unusually warm and dry since we’ve been back, although it is raining today. The days are reaching the high teens and 10 -12 degrees at night. Tim is still wearing shorts to school, but I’m wearing long pants and sweaters, so I think he’s going for bragging rights. We took a long walk in the big park yesterday which is about a 20 walk from our place. It was full of people enjoying the beautiful day ...

We joined hundreds ...

... asked if they could bring in some “snacks” so we ended up with Korean sushi (no fish) for the class, a tiramisu (Brazilian mom) and a variety of candies and chocolates with a sea salt lemonade for each kid.

To celebrate making it to Christmas, Tim and I went for a “foot massage” after school yesterday. The place that was closed down for illegal activity beside the school has been renovated ...

... so marks and comments have to be in this week. Tim and I are going to Western Australia for 2 weeks. We’ll be driving along the coast the first week and then in and around Perth for the second week. We wanted to be somewhere "western" for Christmas where English is spoken and the Christmas traditions observed. It will be the start of their summer, so no cool temperatures there.

    I “decorated’ ...
