    ... a couple of days in Munich and then fly to Halifax where we’ll visit for a few days before returning to the Island. We’ve very excited about the Rhine River cruise – it’s been on my “bucket list” for a long time.     ... my equilibrium. Next Saturday is the Spring Fair and I’m on the organizing committee. The principal and I convinced the parent group that we should be donating the profits to a charity so the proceeds will go to the Nepal Earthquake Relief. We just finished our last set of parent teacher interviews yesterday AND we’ve written our last student narratives – comments about each child in all subjects – Alleluia!!! Now ...

    ... John and I have ever gone without seeing each other. May 1 was a national holiday here so Tim and I were able to take them around to the sights here. We spent a lot of time in grocery stores and markets! We all went for a massage and John had a $3.00 haircut, as you can see in the picture. They took more luggage home for us, so when we walk out in June, we’ll each just have one suitcase and a backpack. Six weeks of teaching ...

    Hello –we're still here! We’ve had a busy and exciting couple of weeks with our visitors "from home". First we met Sandra and Joyce in Hong Kong after they finished their 21 day tour of China, and, believe me, there’s little left in China that’s worth a visit that they didn’t see!     ... just along the road. Quite steep though so good exercise, and some good views of surrounding mountains and cities. We saw some people building another road hanging over the mountain which was strange. On the way was a kind of bird park where there were lots of different birds in cages, including ostriches which wasn't very nice to see.
