    ... we pressed on to Casper, Wyoming. By the time we arrived in Casper, it was time for lunch.  After a little searching, we found a place to park the trailers and grab some food.  Peaches Family Restaurant was definitely "old Casper", with a decor and menu that dated back to the Brady Bunch era.  After eating, we headed out of town and continued west across Wyoming 20 towards Lander.  This was a long, empty drive. ...

    Gavin and I left this morning for Yellowstone National Park. We are staying just outside the park this evening. The drive from Denver was fairly easy and I was surprised at the landscape in Wyoming.....expected it to be a little more "forrested." And what a Podunk town Laramie is!!     ... and unusual rock formations. Cottontails are darting everywhere and not scared away if only a few feet from one. We also spy prairie dogs amidst the boulders and deer in the fields along the hiway.
    Of course we are once again off road searching for Mom's special State Park and so arrived at 8:30 instead of 5:30 but we did not veer off ...

    ... kids were tired by the end of it. Although we saw a lot of scat on our hikes we could not spot any wild life. The scenery is so spectacular that we could not stop taking pictures, so there are a lot of pictures added to this entry.

    Got back to our campsite and made maggie for dinner and played a game of apples to apples and called it a night.

    ... with Kade and it was so much fun. The wind blowing so fast in your face. I also got the chance to drive myself and it was so much fun. We really wish we had our own snowmobiles to play with. Today we had the best day of our trip.
