        We left Tetons early in the morning after dumping the tanks and taking on water. We drove about 180 miles down the north side of the Wind River Range to Lander, Wyoming. We searched online and found a free campsite at the Lander City Park. Woo hoo. Stopped first at the Ace Hardware store to fill up on propane. We are set for several days of inexpensive dry camping.

        ... a while to cool off after the long day crossing the prairie.  We decided to head into town and have a bite to eat at the Gannet Grill, located adjacent to the Lander Bar.  The Lander Bar was a great old bar, clearly dating back to the early part of last century.  The restaurant was located in the old Lander hotel, and offered a variety of burgers, salads, and sandwiches.  After eating, we headed back up the hill ...

        ... kids were tired by the end of it. Although we saw a lot of scat on our hikes we could not spot any wild life. The scenery is so spectacular that we could not stop taking pictures, so there are a lot of pictures added to this entry.

        Got back to our campsite and made maggie for dinner and played a game of apples to apples and called it a night.

        ... with Kade and it was so much fun. The wind blowing so fast in your face. I also got the chance to drive myself and it was so much fun. We really wish we had our own snowmobiles to play with. Today we had the best day of our trip.
