Last night, Brian arrived and he is actually from Winchester, VA…crazy right? Even crazier, his brother lives in Reston and works in Arlington. Today was busy, Elise and I worked on feeding the pigs, giving each pig pen 5-10 loaves of bread and milk. First stop of the day was Ponzi's new vineyard at Beaverton - including a tour of their new wine making facilities.
Very impressively designed (by the owner who used to work for Disney as an Imagineer designing their rides) - based on a gravity system that means they use very little electricity and it's all very eco-minded.
We also visited their older Historic Estate (where they started off in 1970) which is just up the road

I've discovered my family will be able to watch my walks virtually on RunKeeper.com. I just have to start my tracker and sync with the website and they will know where I am at every step! Pretty awesome, huh?
