I was very disappointed in my room. There was no table, desk or chair. I also expected a microwave and it didn't have that either. The Internet service was disappointing.

I stayed here for a clean bed and got one. There is not much more to it than that. Old furniture. They are in the middle of a remodel.

We were up at 6am and had some breakfast with Monti before he headed for work. He was taking his time and it looked like he did not want to leave.

We finally waved Monti off to work and then packed the car and waited for the washing to finish before heading off.

Minnesota is pretty flat and we saw a number of horse farms as we travelled Interstate 90. Half way through our trip, we got some rain and the sky really was starting to get pretty dark. In addition to the horse farms, there were miles and miles of wind turbines.....they definitely know how to save ...

Headed North along the Miss River which has been flooded bad enough to decar pats of Wisc disaster areas. Then from LaCrosse we went uphill into the wind all day and settled in a State Park in Minnesota. Nice little glacial lake but too small for Elbo Room. ...
