... Its a cheap city to experience with a good dinner costing about €15 for us both to have. We visited many tourist spots including the highest point on the island, the PEAK. There was some great views to be had but sadly a huge cloud of rain passed over us just as we got to the viewing platform. Id say the onlookers got some laugh watching the "pail and pasties" running for cover ...

... into a number of bars where the ladies of the night ply their trade. You can, genuinely, smell the desperation in the place.

Thankfully, and bizarrely, there's a Hilton directly opposite, so I went over and asked the concierge to find the address for me. What I didn't notice until now is how much those Chinese things have replaced the Western things in comforting me. Awkwardly enough, when I see a foreigner or am around a large group of foreigners (in other words, a bunch of mes), I am not really on par on how to act. I've been around Chinese people (with ...

... we decided to head straight out to experience the Hong Kong night scene. First stop was a roof top bar at the top of the Hennessy building with a great view of the city. We also ended up in the main party streets which felt like being somewhere like Ibiza (full of drunk English speaking people). The following day Smudge took us to an area called Stanley. This was a lovely coastal area where ...
