... Winery in Adelaide and here is what I had to say about it then:

We visited the Penfolds winery, within the city limits of Adelaide. Formerly on the outskirts of the city, it was engulfed as the city grew. A rather large vineyard at one time, it has shrunk considerably in size, at least in Adelaide, moving much of its business further out from the city. It has not, however, shrunk in value. ... We got into Adelaide late this afternoon, were we checked into our last minute Comfort Inn deal just North of Adelaide. It was quite warm today, so we got our stuff into the room and went for a quick swim to cool off. We also enjoyed a glass of wine and some great cheeses from our Barossa adventure today. Looking forward to a good night's sleep tonight, for a full day of exploring the city tomorrow in the heat.

... around. We also saw, on the drive up to the viewing platforms, the impact of bush fire on the landscape. It was only a few years ago that there was a big bush fire and a lot of the vegetation is beginning to regenerate (especially the Gum Trees), but it has had a lasting affect on the wildlife in the area - which will take longer to get numbers back up.

Just after 1pm we made our way back to Adelaide - just a short 6 hour journey. ...

... 11m a year for 10 years, from the Chinese. They are supposed to have them for breeding, but since they are both young in Panda terms, so far no joy. The other thing is that they are the first zoo in the Southern Hemisphere to be allowed to have pandas, and there was some concern how they would fare in the climate. In general they are doing very well, except they are getting allergies including hay fever. They do have an AC controlled climate and ...
