... Montana. Our first stop was to see a giant statue of Mary AKA Our Lady of the Rockies up on top of the mountain. We opted out of the tour and instead drove as close as we could to get a good picture of it, then it was off to get some good ole fashion miner lunch… Pasties. That’s right, pasties in Montana. It is ******* us and Alexis and especially hard because Liana is not with us at this time, she and Heather are still in ...

... just outside Whitehall - perfectly natural, separated from the river by piles of stones), and then camp near the ghost towns (old deserted mining towns of Nevada City and Virginia City) before heading for 4th July Rodeo in Ennis (apparat entry world famous!). Well, all good plans fall apart, because dinner took hours to arrive (the steak was good, the burgers needed a bit a Californization if you ask me, the people were lovely - as all Montanans have been so ...

... the attempts, well I was still learning and there was always a keen wingman there to help when the surprisingly speedy bovines evaded me. This type of riding in this stunning country has been my dream since before I can remember and the smile never left my face, even when it felt like my legs had been pulled from their sockets and I would never walk freely again after days on end in the saddle.

Work hard, play hard has never been a truer moniker as ...
