Not much in the town really, it's a little industrial really, the largest paper plant in the U.S is its claim to fame but looking at at I'm not so sure. The next stint is another 80 or so miles but this time we stop at a little rest area, there not like our services, this one is only a restroom area and a few vending machines. ... British Columbia. She was very well received of course!
So, thanks to our Serendipity Bunny, what could have been a real nuisance turned into a delightful two days of interacting with great folks, lots of VW sightings, and some great roots music for the cost of a sandwich. And what could have cost us 600 or 700 dollars (the window and the bike) and days of delay, cost only about $400 and some great fun.
Onward today toward the Cape Hatteras region.

Lovely marina, good place to stop. We were late leaving Caspers Marina (Swansboro). after oversleeping due to the long previous day of motoring along in the rain.
