Had a perfect travel day yesterday. Actually got away early, 8:45, and had beautiful cold clear weather all day. It was only once we got close to Portland that we saw any snow at all and there it was only deep in the bush. But shortly after we stopped for the night the snow started. We found our current motel, and with the weather showing no sign of improvement, thought that this is as good a place as any to set up camp for the night.
Tomorrow we head off towards Montpelier, the capital of Vermont, through the mountains so it should be a beautiful drive. ...
