With no appointment ( granted the busiest part of this season is not on them yet, but still!) they started with us right after 1 pm and we were back in a slip before 3pm even with a few waits in between. The Berkshires are located at the very Western end of Massachusetts. This area was amazingly green, hilly and heavily wooded. You could see that "Fall" was on its way, with the occasional glimpse of colour change in a few trees. It was clear that the area would be beautiful in full Autumn colour.

    1. Tolland State Forest, East Otis, MA Site 23 93 sites

This is definitely forest camping on Otis Reservoir, which is a scenic lake peninsula. No hookups and there are only about 25 sites out of 93 for trailers and RV's. Our site was down a long rocky driveway slanted to the lake with a picnic table and firepit overlooking the lake. We could have put ...
