        ... when my cousin, Crystal, and I decided to see a friend on his first night as a karaoke DJ at the Smallest Bar in Texas on 5th street; meanwhile, on a parallel timeline, Mark's friends Brandon and Samantha decided to adjourn their wedding festivities to the same "random" establishment. The stars aligned that night and God introduced two people with the same dream in their heart. So this might be entry number one, but I think the story began a long time ago J

        We had a quick look in Ross (which is a clearance outlet store). Picked up a couple of bargains.

        Long Beach's Belmont Pier was next on our list and what a stunning day it was too. Yet another cloudless sky and high 20's temperatures had brought nearly everyone outside today.         ... we got to enjoy the LA traffic and the crazy US drivers(definitely one thing I won't miss). I can't believe how badly the speed, don't know how to use their indicators and cut across six lanes of traffic.

        The flight home was a good as expected, it was a full flight and as it was a night flight most people slept. We each probably got a few hours sleep in between watching movies.

        ... straight for Universal Studios Hollywood! We caught the train to the studios... Paid a ridicules price for the fast pass ticket so we didn't have to line up but was well worth it. It was an awesome day to see the movie sets etc. Amazing views of Hollywood Hills :) Didn't get back to the hotel till 12 - very long day... And ...

        Remarkably, despite the crowds, it's quite common to bump into the same people throughout the 3 days. The sessions are streamed by focus (economics, philanthropy, health, education, etc), drawing regulars to areas of common interest.
