      ... adjacent to the noisy, busy freeway, secured one night in a serviced pull through, turned on the air conditioners (it was warm), put on the Giants game and relaxed with some fresh caprese from our larder.

      Perhaps we would have remained overnight up in the Berkshires had we found an open campsite. The Walmart in North Adams doesn't allow overnights so we moved on.

      Today was always going to be a non-event; we had to drive 200+ miles from Henrietta/Rochester to Albany/Troy.       ... to lock 2 on the Erie canal system. We had been to lock 35 when we were at Lockport several weeks ago. Back to the hotel buying some bread at Hannafords on the way home.

      Made lunch in our room and had our very nice muffins for afters. Then Wes had a rest while I went to the exercise room. For the first time on our trip inclination and equipment came together.
