Not much to write about...
My only reason to come to Houston was to visit the NASA space center. Frankly, it was unimpressive at best.
Houston downtown looked very busy, huge and un-inviting and I felt very tired at the same time. So I decided not to do anything else in Houston. I checked into a motel close to NASA and crashed.

... erdem würden sie ja noch nicht mal akzeptieren, wenn zwei legal verheiratete Schwule hier ankämen, weil andere Gesetze und Sitten in Texas nicht interessieren! Cancelled flight and problem solving
... see if they would cancel our room without charging us. (United did say that they could send something to the hotel showing that our flight was indeed cancelled.) We did that (excellent hotel), then seriously considered cancelling the whole weekend. Flying ORD-IAH
... Class, there were several empty bins and it appeared all the passengers were settled into their seats, so I returned to the jetway and asked to carry my suitcase on board. A flight attendant came out and said it’s no problem, there’s plenty of space. That will save me some time at IAH not having to wait to claim the luggage. This way I can proceed directly to the hotel shuttle bus.
