    ... roads need repairing-ruts. The sites are gravel and relatively level, but there are no amenities. There is a lake to look at and it is quiet, but that's it.

    I named this BROKEN CURSE, but after hearing the weather report, guess we'll be traveling in the rain again tomorrow. Not really a whole lot to write about tonight since all we did today was drive. Tomorrow will be more of the same. The plan is to make it to Livingston, LA.

    ... we had lights on our bikes) before we got cleaned up and headed out for dinner. We ended up having to ride about two miles on the most uneven sidewalks we've ever ridden on (you had to be there, too much to explain!) in the dark and every place we had chosen was already closed. We ended up going to a Piggly Wiggly for the healthy salad stuff and then to Burger King for some protein (burgers), potassium replenishment (fries) and calcium, Vit A & Vit D (a chocolate shake).     ... the road wasn't finished yet either so there was a 4 to 8 inch drop off to the grass. The brighter side of all that, the road was wider. We stayed to the right without falling off the ledge and trucked along. Traffic is a lot lighter on Saturdays, but the logging trucks still ran. Since the traffic is lighter they seem to give us a little more room. Soon we were at the Alabama River and up a large hill to a gas station / hardware store / post ...

    ... everything you read on the internet. There are a lot of people that spend a lot of time digging for things to write about that will stir up controversy, gossip, rumors and hatred. Instead of adding to the problem, do something about what you believe in. Get out and physically do it. It will make you feel better, and maybe you have the answer to an underlying problem that we cannot figure out.
