    ... Some poor Disneyesque joke was made, the audience whooped and howled and generally wet themselves. When the film finished the audience applauded heartily and I'm sure more than one was in tears. I got up to leave. What was I thinking? A real live human person came onto the stage in front of the screen and pretended to be Ariel the effing mermaid! She showed us her legs and asked many times about the bits of the film we'd enjoyed.     ... law. I also met Andreas grandmother, Evelyn, who I thought introduced herself as Evil Nan - but she actually said Evelyn! I had to laugh, and shared my mishearing with her and it seemed to be ok :>) She's Andreas mothers mother and in her 80s , a very smart and engaging woman, look forward to seeing more of her over the weekend.     ... at the airport FREE and loaded up again for the airport gate Not bad. Went through the check lines quickly. Gave ourselves about 3 1/2 hrs from the hotel. Just in case. Arrived at our gate 2 hrs early. On the plane and we had really good seats. Paid a 100 extra for more leg room and we were in a front row, so I could have laid down on the floor and slept, although I didn't.     ... better diving around St. Thomas. It's kind of small, but there's a rocky area on one end of the beach that seemed to be the spot to go. The water was a little chilly, but it's very clear. The fish are pretty friendly because you can feel them, so they tend to swarm around you to see if you have food.
