... up and clap for the troops. Then we went to LA. Spent a few days at Venice beach which has some interesting people around. Then we headed up to Hollywood. Saw a couple of shows being taped, Bill Maher who I didn't know and he wasn't that great and we saw Conan today which was really good. They film them during the day but they don't play on tv until later that night. And they're all free. ...

... bite to eat. Tasted amazing! We then had to quickly hurry back to the car to head back to the airport. Luckily we made it in time! After we said our goodbyes to Rick and Liz, we headed in to check in. We went past the studio filming the Big Bang Theory, which we weren't allowed in. :-( We then went to the FRIENDS set, where we were allowed to sit on the sofa in Central Perk. That was the best part of the tour! On the drive back they showed us a small patch of grass, which was used in all the Central Park scenes in FRIENDS. They never actually filmed in New ...

Not so sad to be saying goodbye to the weather in San Fran but definitely sad to be saying goodbye to the little town houses I absolutely love love looove! Everyone single one of them interesting and unique in their own way. No two houses the same colours! A lot of the houses would be going on 100years old (according to one of our taxi drivers). Many have scaffolding on them for renovations, or look as if they have been renovated ...

... recommend this tour as you will be able to see overview of LA in air conditioned bus with good music and excellent guide. I was the last one to be dropped off; I picked up my luggage from storage and took the free shuttle to airport. I had brilliant time in California and I saw many places in short time, it all turned out better than I expected, my favourite place was Yosemite Park which was awesome. Next stop is Auckland, New Zealand. ...
