... rollercoaster, Ferris wheel (the most scary ride for Nomes! Explanation later) and swinging chairs etc were, was just like stepping into a 1950's fun fair. The wooden decking complimented the brightly colored stalls, posters and benches. ... 97 years ago on what was the outskirts of LA. As the city grew they have moved their vineyards and operations to Central California but retained the old buildings as a distribution centre for LA. It has great food and atmosphere. We had a Maddalena Merlot, from Paso Robles which was good red wine. We spent most of the afternoon chatting with Schani; it appears LA puclic servants also observe early Friday knock off.
