Try this place..you won't be sorry

I was hesitant to stay at a motel but the price was reasonable and it was very close to the park. The hotel was clean and our rooms were ready at 9am when we arrived after a 4 hour drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always cleaning. The room was small but the beds were fine and the mini-refrigerator and microwave came in handy. The pool was good and clean and my kids wanted to leave the park to go back to the pool. Highly recommend the restaurant Duke's right next door and the Palmdale Cafe across the street had awesome coffee and breakfast. Try this place, you won't be sorry. We're planning on returning next year

Fantastic Place to Stay!

We travel quite a lot, and for the first time decided we would try a motel instead of a fancy, expensive chain hotel. We were not disappointed in the Milton Motel at all. We were surprised and amazed to find a very large, very clean room, complete with a microwave, mini fridge, and a dvd player. I had requested the fridge when I booked the room online, but really hadn't expected to have one available. We were given extra towels, clean sheets and extra pillows without hesitation. The staff gave us directions, sold discount amusement park tickets and we couldn't have asked for better service.

I have two children and a pool was a must for us. We were delighted that the Milton Motel had a 6 foot, heated, very nice outdoor pool. (In fact, when we left the Milton Motel and went to Washington DC to stay at the Holiday Inn my youngest daughter said the pool at the Milton was MUCH better than the one at the Holiday Inn.)

We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We met a family staying in what they called the "Cocoa Suite" which, apparently, was even nicer than the room we stayed in. This was obviously our first experience with a stand alone motel, but I would highly recommend this motel to families staying in the Hershey area.

Don't book this motel...way overpriced!

This motel has the same price as a premium hotel with a tenth of the quality. Rooms are very small, staff was rude. Description on the web site is very deceptive. What a disappointment!

A very nice, clean, and respectable motel! The room was newly renovated and had a huge tv with a DVD player! I travel quite extensively and will most surely stay here again! Thanks!

Nice and Clean!

My husband and I stayed here during one of Hershey's car events. For the price($79) I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were a little small but they were very clean, including the bathroom. The refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were great. There are two great restaurants just next door.

Very Pleased

We were very happy with everything.The room was nice,and clean.The staff was very friendly and helpful.We liked it so much that we stayed an extra night.The room had a coffee pot ,a hair dryer ,even an iron and ironing board.You can't go wrong for the price.The complimentary Hershey chocolate bars at check-in is a nice touch.

Not what i expected.

i would like to start by saying that i booked it over the internet,well that was a big mistake.I reserveda room with two queen beds,i got a room with two double beds,if you can call them beds! the beds were old lumpy matresses.the sheets were stained!the arcade was a joke!i did not get any sleep,i was even debating going to sleep in my car!i spent $140.00 for nothing! the room was so small.the bathroom was so tiny.i would never recommend this place to anyone,not even my worse enemy!!!!!

Look at other options

The hotel is basic. Bathroom is tiny. Pool is quite small, as was the room. Beds were low quality, heat and A/C worked well. There are better alternatives.

Great Price, Clean Motel

The Motel was better than expected for the price.Two miles from Hershey attractions.Motel was very clean and in a nice area.Walking distance (next door) to GingerBread Man restuarant. I paid for a decent place for my family and I to sleep, and that's what I received.Did not see or use pool as our visit was in April.

Deceptive Advertisement

So you reserve the suite with the patio and private access to the pool. Here is what you get. A view of the parking lot, across where there is the green pool behind the chain linked fence. The heated pool and the outdoor pool are the same pool. I hope you enjoy staring at car bumpers or someone unkept backyard. AHH don't forget the game room. Try 2 salvage arcade video consoles under the stairs next to the Ice machine. My kids went in turned around and left.
