... Avenue, we walked passed by many cute shops and restaurants. Not many were open since it was the 4th of July but the Northface store was. We stopped in since both of us were looking for a new jacket. I found a perfect jacket to try on but unfortunately when I zipped it up, it came unzipped at the bottom (I guess they aren't meant for curvy girls!). I just watched Rox and her brother Joe and sister-in-law Linda take off from the Minneapolis airport. They are headed for Portland, Oregon. We got stuck with this itinerary courtesy of Delta Airlines' rules about using frequent flier miles versus getting the lowest cost. I am on the direct flight to Anchorage but they have to do the intermediate step of connecting in Portland. Rox fought with a Delta rep on the phone yesterday for over 45 minutes trying to get us all on the same ...

... state of Minnesota and I have been thinking of ways to remedy this. I grew up here and I will always call Minnesota home. So, I have decided that one of my goals for the summer will be to stay informed on the happenings in Minnesota. When I leave in August for my YAGM year I want to be able to know what is happening in my home state. ...
