    A group of us stayed at this motel. We really liked the accommodation - it was neat and clean. The motel was great value for money. The owners were helpful and friendly.

Since then it has taken off big time with 170 finalists showing their costumes in a choreographed show over 12 nights for 50,000 people annually in Wellington. We might get to see more of this later in Nelson.

    ... of it is really expensive. But I found a lady selling them today that hand carves them herself and it was only 10NZD! I was pumped! And it was nice to be supporting local artists rather than tourist shops.

    After the market, Marion took me on a little driving tour of the populated side of the island, the other half is national park I think. We ended up at this really beautiful lookout where it was almost 360 degrees of views! It was sort of cloudy but still ...

    ... glowing here and there, then, as we got further into the caves and absolute pitch black, Vikki grabbed me by the arm and pointed up.
