A group of us stayed at this motel. We really liked the accommodation - it was neat and clean. The motel was great value for money. The owners were helpful and friendly.

A trip to Waiheke Island, off the coast near Auckland, is worth it in itself. But throw in a wine tour at some of the great wineries and you really have a great weekend escape from the city. The ferry journey only takes 35 mins and offers great views of Auckland skyline (due to bad weather and the fact that I already have lots of photos from past …

Shook off most of the jet lag today and woke up pretty refreshed. I'll say this about the Pullman, they make a mean continental breakfast. Since most of our breakfasts on this trip are included I'm feeling an overwhelming need to stuff myself to the point of gastric eruption. Next thing was the flying fox, which was 10 metres high, you have to stand on a plank and fall off backwards like you lying down....hmm I think this ruled out bungy jumping for us...and that wasn't even that high! Last time on the cable car and we got drenched! Not a fun 10 mins up...decided to head home after this and have a hot spa. We ended up lazing around for the afternoon watching movies, which was really nice ...

... lots of islands and interesting coastline. Arrived at our little Bach that was very cute and spoke to an English bloke who was supping his beer in the front garden of his adjoining Bach.Decided to walk down to Sandy Bay taking a torch on the advice of the English guy. Walked down a path to tiny Sandy Bay and then up another path and down a road to Little Oneroa Bay, very nice. Continued along the coastal footpath passed a pretty church to Oneroa in search of a cold drink and yes we ...
