We are settled in, somewhat organized and looking forward to a relaxing winter, lots of golf and fun with Florida friends.

Things Are Settling Down - For Me!

... on the computer - in advance of the Board meeting he will attend next week. That means I have carted around on my own to various shops and even got myself a library card. The closest library to us, Belvedere, just re-opened after a refurbishment that started in January, 2014. It is very nice and very busy.

Today was Comcast installation day - Internet & WiFi, cable, HD TV and home phone. The cable guy arrived early and took the full two hours to figure out our requirements. So now I have yet another telephone number to remember! Richard needs a home phone for his work conference calls so we picked that up yesterday along with two TVs at Best Buy.

... and we were already tired of the fast food chains. It was off I75 at NW 39th Ave, right at the exit. Technically I guess it is Gainesville. We indulged in raw oysters and some crab cakes - both wonderful for our first Florida lunch.

By 2 pm we were home! It looked perfect inside and our thanks to the Watts and their Homewatch program. There was the beap one ...
