We had a great time in Cortez, and it was good to see are old friends and make new ones. Everyone had such a good tIme we all agreed to meet up at the same place next year in May.

Today we slept in a little, packed up and left Crystal Isles RV resort. We stopped in downtown Crystal River for a little souvenir shopping and an early lunch. The only shops open were dive shops, but we found a few things. Lunch was at Crackers by the water. The food was good and it was nice to look out at Kings Bay. ... when this was an exotic animal park. When it became a state park the local residents put up a fight to keep him here. We spent a couple hours here exploring the different sections of wildlife on display. Bob still deals with the problem of caged animals and this was not one of my favorite places.
