    On Our Way to Columbus!

    Got off Monday after 12...heading for Columbus, OH 1003 miles away....and had to be there by Wednesday.

    Drove just under 300 miles to Perry, GA. Found a stopover at Fair Harbor RV Park just off I75. Neat park all treed, cute little lake in the middle of it, great electric and cable. Just what we needed after getting in around 6 that evening.

    ... are also far from their family. The thing that brings us together is that we all agree that gathering together this Easter morning to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the perfect place to be.

    We sang several old hymns and opened the Word together. It was not a church I would have been drawn to if we had been at home. The music was calm, the message was basic and it was just where we needed to be today. ...

    Perry has a Krystal's, so we decided to get those hamburgers for lunch. I had heard they are similar to White Castle’s. After having them, I would say they are similar; but not a solution for a White Castle craving.

    We had a short sight-seeing day and headed home to work on our summer ...

    ... for RV mags for about 30 yrs. His talk was the top 10 items to maintain and how often. He is a very good speaker and even though we already knew most of the stuff, he expounded on them and now we understand them a little better.

She was also at the FROG rally and the FMCA rally that year. We talked with her briefly and she told us that she had looked for us at the FROG rally last year, but since we weren't FROGs we couldn't go.
