Today was very very wet. It didn't start raining until I crossed the state line into West Virginia which was about 40 miles into my ride. Once it started raining I put my jacket on and hoped for it to stop. It didn't. After 10 minutes I was soaked from head to toe. Once I was in West Virginia I rode about 5 miles to a ...

There as a little store open and a wonderful and informative lady running it. This was the first town on the trail to actually have signs and historical info. This trail is nothing like the Katy. We rode just a little further to the North Bend Trail State Park. It is beautiful. We make ...

We woke up to a super rainy day. We are in the Blennerhassett Hotel. The hotel is on the National Register of Historic Hotels. Food and accommodations are much beyond bike trip standards. It is very old and very beautiful. However, we are never good with rainout days. There are no stores near here. Scott needs peeling off the ceiling again. He goes to wander the downtown in the rain. I stay. ...
